"Bling" is the perfect name for our latest arrival. She failed her hip test so we got to adopt her. She is full of energy and has to be on the run most of the time. She is a wonderful but sometimes annoying girl. We love her very much but Sonny wants to know when she is going home!
Sonny came to us from a breeder in Vancouver. He was one year old when we got him. Again, kind of a rescue situation. He was happy to be a submissive toy to our Freedie! He is now seven and still learning. A big guy with a tiny puppy brain 🙂
This is our very special girl, Freedom - or as we call her "Freedie".
She came to us from our special friend Brenda, who breeds Goldens and has a heart of gold. Freedie was 9 years old when she came to live with us. She was a very sweet and loving dog. Unfortunately we lost her in August of 2021. It was a wonderful 3 years that we had with her.
Tango was a very special lady. She stole our hearts and was truly the queen of her domain. We were heartbroken when we lost her in December, 2014.
Mr. Buddy is a rescue boy. He came to visit us for a weekend and decided to stay. He was very tentative at first but soon decided that he was safe with us. He soon took over the bed and couch regularly. It was a sad day when we had to say goodbye to our special friend. Many of our friends came to say goodbye. He was truly loved by all.
Jazz was a rescue boy as well. He was brought to Canada as a stud dog from a very good line. Unfortunately he was sterile. We were delighted to have him as our special guy. He developed some digestive problems in later years but he always had a great temperament. We miss him very much.
Murphy Brown was a wonderful dog. After we lost Einstein she came out in her full glory.
"B" Bear, or as we like to call her, "Bad Bear" was a handful. She constantly tested our patience and we loved her all the more for that.
Einstein was the king. He was big, bold and beautiful. He ruled the roost and kept his girls in line. Despite his size he loved to go sailing with us and would crawl up onto our bed at night. There are many "Einstein" children out there carrying on the tradition.
